HEY GREEN-MINDED NEW YORKERS!
In case you missed it last weekend, the fabulous Hester Street Fair opened last Saturday at Seward Park in the Lower East Side of Manhattan to huge crowds and much excitement. By all accounts, the fair’s opening weekend was a phenomenal success: bringing in over 11,000 visitors on Saturday alone to mingle, shop, chat, and nibble on tasty treats like handmade popsicles and fancy artisanal corn-nuts. Inhabitat was there to experience this great community event, and we’ll be setting up shop there again this weekend — so come on down and visit us. We hear the weather is going to be gorgeous this weekend (85 degrees both days!), so you have no excuse not to come down – it is going to be great!
