Summer is all about making a splish and a splash, so if you haven’t made it over to Park Avenue for a dip in one of Macro Sea’s infamous dumpster pools , you’d better get moving because this Saturday the 21st will be your last chance! Commissioned by the Bloomberg Administration for the third annual Summer Streets Fair in NYC , three dumpsters were transformed into makeshift swimming pools exclusively for the public to enjoy. Already in its third week, the guerilla pools have attracted New Yorkers and tourists of all ages, all aching to show off their seasoned swimming skills. We’ve heard tomorrow’s going to be a scorcher, so if you’re down for some fun in the sun get on over to Park Avenue between 40th and 41st before the pools close 1pm! And if you’re still not convinced, take a look at some of our exclusive snaps from last week’s fun-filled pool party!
