HEY NEW YORK CITY!
Summer is all about making a splish and a splash, so if you haven’t made it over to Park Avenue for a dip in one of Macro Sea’s infamous dumpster pools [4], you’d better get moving because this Saturday the 21st will be your last chance! Commissioned by the Bloomberg Administration for the third annual Summer Streets Fair in NYC [5], three dumpsters were transformed into makeshift swimming pools exclusively for the public to enjoy. Already in its third week, the guerilla pools [6] have attracted New Yorkers and tourists of all ages, all aching to show off their seasoned swimming skills. We’ve heard tomorrow’s going to be a scorcher, so if you’re down for some fun in the sun get on over to Park Avenue between 40th and 41st before the pools close 1pm!
