"We have to look at the entire neighborhood as a laboratory for artists," said Amy Hau, Administrative Director of the Nagouchi Museum. She proposed "improving the city through art and diverse green initiatives" as a way to improve local economies throughout the city, and bring local residents together. She recommends that community organizers and arts organizations should work on fostering a closer relationship by combining art and activism. "Democracy is changing. Art is reflecting this. It has the power to bring people together and engage in their own space without city involvement."
