Calling All Brooklyn Designers!

If you’ve been looking for a way to spread the word about your work and showcase it to an audience of tastemakers and buyers, don’t miss your chance to participate in BKLYN Designs! The premiere design tradeshow is coming back to DUMBO this year, bringing the very best in Brooklyn-based furniture and furnishings under one roof. If you’re a local designer or manufacturer, it’s not too late to apply. The application deadline has been extended until tomorrow, January 24th, giving you just one day more to wow the BKLYN Designs panel with your submission. We can’t wait for this year’s festivities, and hope to bring you lots of great content on the new treasures we uncover at the show.

From May 10-12, we’ll be on the scene reporting live from BKLYN Designs for your viewing pleasure! Each year, we choose our favorites in sustainable design, from recycled tennis ball chairs to eco-friendly lighting. The very best and the coolest designs will be tallied up for our Inhabitat Editor’s Choice Awards, where we’ll honor our favorites in categories like Best in Show, Most Engaging Design, Best Student Design and Most Innovative Use of Materials.
