Gallery: Celebrity Chefs Join Fight to Keep Historic Fulton Fish Market...

Community groups and star chefs are banding together to prevent developers from tearing down the old Fulton Fish Market at the South Street Seaport. In a video encouraging the public to sign a petition to preserve the space as a public market where both restaurateurs and locals can shop for fresh food, 10 popular chefs, including Daniel BouludJean-Georges Vongerichten and Bill Telepan, stated their case for preserving this rich part of New York City history. The campaign is seeking to acquire 10,000 signatures in support of the petition by the end of this month.
