As Inhabitat grows, so does our team – and we’ve outgrown our current office space again. If you’re looking for a workspace that is flooded with natural daylight and is the complete opposite of a cubicle farm, then we have just the place for you! The former Inhabitat office, located on the corner of Essex and Rivington Streets in the Lower East Side, is available for rent starting immediately. This shared space is perfect for freelancers or a small business, and it comes complete with a kitchen, bathroom, and meeting area.
Situated on the second floor, the space available is roughly 150 square feet, but it’s part of a larger area that is shared with an architectural firm. It can accommodate up to four people, and it can be used every day of the week. There is also a shared common space that can be used for meetings, and a shared kitchen (with a stove!) that makes packing lunch a no-brainer. The rent is $1,250 a month, plus a quarter of the utilities, including gas, electric, internet, cleaning, and supplies. Large floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, and dozens of shops and restaurants are just steps away.
The F, J, M, and Z subway lines are just a block away, making the office easily accessible by public transportation. If you’re interested in seeing the space, contact us at inhabitat [at] gmail [dot] com with the subject line “Inhabitat Office Space.”
