Climate Ride NYC-DC is a cycling adventure connecting two of the nation’s most important cities by bicycle. From the exciting departure by ferry in Manhattan to the hero’s welcome and rally at the steps of the US Capitol, Climate Ride is more than a bike trip – it’s an inspiring journey with 150+ like-minded people who are united by their passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and bicycles – the ultimate carbon-free form of transportation.
Climate Ride organizes the details of carefully planned routes, covering 60-80 daily miles of back roads through the countryside. With a challenging yet doable course through the Delaware River Valley, Pennsylvania’s Amish Country and Horse Country in Maryland, the NYC-DC ride showcases some of the best sites of the Mid-Atlantic. Riders are given ample time to complete the 5-day journey, having all day to make it to the each rest stop. The Climate Ride support team is always nearby to assist you, keep you happy and healthy, and make your ride exceptionally memorable.
