DESCRIPTION
Join FABnyc as we bring together gently used materials of all sorts from arts organizations throughout the East Village/LES for a one of a kind re-use & repurposing event. Take home all the costumes, props, and furniture you need for your next artistic endeavor. The items you leave behind will be recycled by GrowNYC, WeRecycle! and the NYC Department of Sanitation.
Additionally, FABnyc is co-sponsoring a community e-waste and clothing recycling drop-off, open and free for everyone (11am-3pm). WeRecycle! will be on hand to accept your e-waste, and GrowNYC to accept your clothing and textiles. Visit our website for questions regarding what’s acceptable to drop-off.
Admission to the Load OUT! swap event is $5 for the general public and FREE for artists and art students. Learn how to donate your gently used materials to Load OUT! at http://fabnyc.org/loadout.php.
