Take part in the Festival of Ideas StreetFest for a diverse range of exciting projects and activities. Here is just a sample of some of the cool things that will be going on:
Sculptural Upcycling
Take part in a cool workshop on constructing powerfully conceptual artworks with a low environmental impact. Opened to students of all ages. Taught by professional teaching artists at the Arbons Art Center!

An interesting series of posters, designed by Civic Center, presenting a collection of good ideas for the future of cities, ideas that originally appeared on Urban Omnibus.

The Bowery Mission
The Bowery Mission will inaugurate its own sustainable urban farming program transforming a portion of its roof into a vegetable garden.

A free app streams geolocated stories told in the voices of the people who live and work in the neighborhood. The project expands in real time with contributions from visitors.
