Feeling a little chilly outside? Escape the cold at the New York Botanical Garden’s “Tropical Paradise,” a showcase of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory’s permanent collection of tropical trees, flowers, and foliage, including orange-yellow crotons, fuschia bromeliads, and rosy-red hibiscus. Step into the largest Victorian-style glasshouse in the country and enjoy a stroll or treat the kids to the scavenger hunt that begins in the conservatory and continues in the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden.
