Luxury may not be the first thing that springs to mind when you hear the name Brillo, but the brand's former factory in DUMBO will be teeming with swank when it's reborn as a tony new condo building. The 15 modern condo units at 200 Water Street are a collaboration between New York-based architecture firms Gil Even-Tsur Architecture Workshop and Aufgang Architects, and feature high ceilings, spiral staircases and plenty of windows.
The brick-clad Brillo factory is one of the last remaining signs of the area’s industrial past. The waterfront property within this area has been developing at a quite rapid pace for years and 200 Water Street is the last to be developed on this historic cobblestone street.
The new six-story condos will have two penthouse apartments with amazing features such as large windows and spiral staircases. Residents will be able to use the building’s community fitness center, bike storage, and extensive garden space. The building’s prime location will also offer stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
