If Williamsburg, Brooklyn doesn’t boast enough visual stimulus for you already, a futuristic new hotel set to rise at 55 Wythe Avenue will add yet another urban spectacle to the neighborhood. A tipster recently shared some new renderings of the Level Hotel project with Brownstoner in a sneak peek of the planned 22-story hotel, office, and retail complex. One of the Zelig Weiss-developed building’s greenest attractions is its 20,000-square-foot rooftop farm.

Along with the rendering, Brownstoner got its hands on a floor plan from the Shopping Center Group detailing the interior of the new hotel. 183 rooms and a pool will occupy the building’s upper floors while the areas of the structure shrouded in chevrons will house 10 floors of office space. At the base, there will be 40,000-square-foot of space for commercial businesses, which will be topped off with the previously mentioned rooftop farm.

It seems tall buildings are the new fad in Williamsburg. Along with Zelig Weiss’s Level Hotel, the historic Domino Sugar plant site will soon make way for 50-story towers designed by SHoP Architects. Curbed NY also notes that there are at least 12 other high-rise towers that will soon sprout up in the classically low-rise neighborhood.
