It looks like the opening of the much-anticipated observatory at One World Trade Center is going to be a star-studded affair. Not only will Mayor de Blasio be on hand to open the new WTC attraction, he will also be sharing the spotlight with none other than George Clooney and Anderson Cooper.

“CBS This Morning” hosts, Charlie Rose, Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell welcomed the three celebs on the show on Wednesday to take an exclusive look at the 102nd-floor space, which officially opens to the public May 29. The show’s executive producer Chris Licht says the high-tech observatory, which is expected to attract 3.8 million visitors annually, “is a true symbol of how far New York City has come since Sept. 11.”

Although its $32 price of admission has been widely criticized, the observatory, which spans 3 floors and sits 1,250 feet above street level, will offer visitors what could be the most spectacular views of New York City. Visitors will be met with an elaborate experience that includes cutting-edge technology, interactive experiences, SkyPod elevators, LED video presentations, and more.
