The three acre corn maze evokes a day at the country fair complete with hay rides, pumpkin picking and fresh apple cider. Adults and children alike can get lost amidst the green topiary of maize. Participants are first prepped with a “Stalk Talk” by the County Farm Museum staff, followed by an interactive adventure through the maze with challenges to find clues and solve puzzles to make their way out of it.

Located in Floral Park, Queens, the Queens County Farm Museum lets visitors transport to an authentic 17th century farm. The retreat is the only working historic farm in the five boroughs of New York City. The 47 acres have consistently raised fresh veggies and fruits for over 200 years! The museum has also been chronicling farming and agricultural history in New York City for the same duration.

After venturing through the Amazing Maize Maze, visitors can spend the day exploring the museum’s grounds. The farm even has ducks, geese and sheep – as well as apple and pear orchards for picking fun.

The Maize Maze is open until October 30th, with special evening hours on Saturdays in October. So grab the kids and get lost in the maize!
