To coincide with Laleh Khorramian’s film Water Panics in the Sea (which is currently playing in Times Square each night), Times Square Arts will be hosting a free talk with the artist and Andrew Hudson, the Head of United Nations Development Water and Ocean Governance Programme, tonight. The discussion, moderated by cultural anthropologist Ida Nicolaisen, will discuss how art can be a catalyst for global issues. Khorramian’s inspiring film tackles the topic of ocean sustainability around the world, bringing the topic to light each night during January from 11:57pm to midnight on the giant screens in Times Square. The talk will take place at The Duke on Monday, January 27th from 6:30 to 8pm. Get your free tickets here!
