DESCRIPTION

Christian Hubert’s design work has been characterized by an ongoing dialogue with art — from direct engagement with specific artworks works to more general explorations of space, light, and material. His works have focused on the installation of art objects (permanent and temporary) and are well know amongst artists, collectors, galleries, and museums.

His projects have included a series of exhibition designs for the Whitney Museum, (Third Dimension, Frederick Kiesler, Ed Kienholtz, Beat Culture, New York Dada, The American Century ), and “The American Century, Part 2: 1950 – 2000,” which filled the entire Whitney Museum.
