DESCRIPTION

Design Within Reach, also known as DWR, was founded in 1999. They developed their business with the belief that design should be accessible to everyone. The store offers modern and minimalist furnishing, lighting, and more from emerging designers, and well-known masters, alike. DWR has retail locations throughout the U.S. and Canada, with six studios in NYC. Their website notes that studio floor samples are frequently sold at reduced pricing.

All of the DWR stores are pretty much the same, they’ve got a good thing going. If you like their other stores — or super modern design — this is a great place to shop.
