DESCRIPTION

Josie’s brings farm fresh, organic and vegan options to Murray Hill with a slick decor that feels more like chic restaurant as opposed to health food chain. A lot of dishes are dairy free but not always meat free, though there are veggie options like Seared Asian Marinated Organic Tofu Salad. Other recommendations include the Roasted Half Chicken for meat eaters and the Veggie plate complete with wok sauteed greens over roasted winter squash, grilled vegetables roasted beets & organic tamari brown rice.

I really enjoy this place! It has a friendly, intimate setting with dimmed lighting and candles. It also feels almost beachy with the weather floorboards, and easy-going environment. Had a delicious salad with cut-up turkey burger, sliced apples, goat cheese, and walnuts. I didn’t expect so much flavor, but was pleasantly surprised.
