DESCRIPTION

Kajitsu serves and old style of Japanese cuisine developed in Zen Buddhist monasteries called Shojin. Shojin cuisine does not use any meat or fish all meals are prepared from fresh, in season vegetables, legumes, wild herbs, seeds and grains, chosen at the moment in the season that best reflects their flavor. The Kajitsu space is simple and zen like, more or less what you’d expect at a Japanese restaurant. The Menu is broken intro three prix fixes at $50, $70 and $90 dollars. Pricey to say the least but each prix fixe is packed with four, eight and twelve courses respectively.

Good, but overpriced. There are better options if you want great Japanese and don’t want to spend $50.
