Littlefield is a sustainable performance and art space in Gowanus, Brooklyn, between Carroll Gardens and Park Slope. The owners of this progressive venue have taken every measure to insure minimal impact on the environment, with sound walls formed from recycled rubber tires, a bar built from salvaged bowling alley lanes, and energy supplied by wind power. Littlefield also features a state-of-the-art sound system and movable partitions, making it the ideal space for a multitude of events, from concerts to art exhibitions to film screenings.

I’ve only been to Littlefield a couple times, but every time, I’ve had a great experience. Unlike a lot of concert venues, the bar area is not completely cut off from the performance space, which means you can sit at the bar and still see the show. The space is fabulous for larger concerts, but it’s also small enough for events like magazine releases.

This place is super cute. I’ve seen some films here- I look forward to seeing live bands in the future
