LV specializes in rich custom wood flooring, and their beautiful showroom is just off Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron District. They source much of their reclaimed woods from the United States and Italy, salvaged from barns, factories, homes and even an ancient Buddhist temple in Thailand, providing a historical anecdote with your home redesign. Owner James Caroll is always on hand to answer questions, or to make you an espresso from their famed Faema E61 Legend espresso bar.

The beautiful window displays had me confused that this was just a store that sold flooring. I wandered in one day and was offered an espresso- of course i didn’t decline (it was delicious). I found it so interesting that many of their floors are sourced from old barns and buildings.
