DESCRIPTION

Situated at the corner of Stanton Street and Sufolk Street in the Lower East Side, NY Studio Gallery is a prime spot for artists to exhibit their work. The gallery makes good use of its corner location, with large windows wrapping around, filling the space with natural light. Director and curator Zeina Assaf is dedicated to showcasing new and emerging artists, many of whom create art from recycled materials and use eco-friendly practices.

Assaf curates some really interesting shows and has an eye for talented artists. One of my favorite exhibitions was a show of terrariums by Kim Holleman — she does amazing things with the natural environment!
