DESCRIPTION

The Park Slope CSA offers a variety of fresh produce as well as optional meat and dairy shares for 22 weeks during the growing season. Optional fruit, flower, and egg shares are also available and are delivered at the same time as your veggies. The CSA is located between 4th and 5th avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn. When you arrive to pick up your food, it will be sorted into large bins. Signs label the bins and tell you how much of each item you can take, 4 pounds of potatoes, 2 squash, etc. Unlike other CSA’s it gives you the option of not taking what you don’t want and therefore eliminating waste. All vegetables come from the organic Windflower Farm in Valley Falls, New York.
