This is where Celebrate Brooklyn! holds all of their concerts in the summer. If you live in New York and you haven’t been to a concert at the Prospect Park band shell you are MISSING OUT! Some of them are free! So get your booty to Brooklyn, it’s an amazing venue. I’ve seen everyone from Coldplay to Sharon Jones rock the stage.

One of the best things about Summer in Brooklyn is the Prospect Park Bandshell. The lawn is a perfect place to see a show, they have great food and beer vendors and always pull in awesome bands. Make sure you get the schedule early and see who is coming through town.
