DESCRIPTION

Sam Flax began as a push cart selling art supplies in 1920, but it has grown into a multi-location arts and crafts supply mecca. Almost 100 years after its start, the store carries art supplies, fine furniture (even Eames Chairs), lighting, scrap booking materials and features an entire section dedicated to eco-friendly gifts.

While the store does have an office supply feel in some sections, it’s an art supply store a heart. They also have a larger selection, and often lower prices than some of the other big names in town.
