DESCRIPTION

The Stephen Soundheim Theatre (formerly Henry Miller Theater) is New York City’s first LEED certified theater and boasts a host of green amenities. The plays inside are just as extravagant and entertaining as at all the other theaters, but you can feel a little better about all those bright lights. Recycled materials were used in the wall panels and baseboard, waterless urinals are installed in the men’s restroom, and local materials were used in the marble flooring and countertops. The 1,055-seat theater hosts Broadway classics like “Bye, Bye, Birdie” and “Anything Goes,” so check out your next play at the Stephen Soundheim LEED certified theater.

There isn’t bad seat in the house. I saw Bye Bye Birdie last year, the sound was great.
