DESCRIPTION

Tokyo Joe is a small consignment shop with everything from DKNY to Givenchy. Staff isn’t the friendliest, but there are some good bargains to be had. You really have to search through the small space, but prices are decent, and merchandise is in good condition (if not new) and on trend. All items are consigned by appointment only. In 2009, Tokyo Joe was named the city’s best consignment store by the Village Voice.

Store is very small, so you have to squeeze past people, especially when the door opens and closes. Staff can be kind of rude, so it’s never my first stop, but I have consigned a few things there in the past. They do have great pieces from time to time, but it’s hit or miss in my opinion.

I hate this store. The staff is rude. I skip it all together.
