Hexavalent chromium might ring a bell, as it was the toxic villain that poisoned hundreds of residents in Hinkley, CA, featured in the blockbuster Erin Brockovich.

    I LIVE DOWN THE BLOCK ON CLARK ST.FROM E.C. ELECTROPLATING AND I READ SOMWHERE THAT THERE IS A WHITE SUBSTANCE THAT COMES UP FROM THE GROUND IF THERE IS ANY CHROMIUM THERE, WELL MY GARAGE FLOOR IS WHITE FROM ALL THE HEAVY RAIN WE HAVE HAD AND I WOULD LIKE FOR SOMEONE TO COME AND CHECK THIS.
