The structure will help the museum expand, by housing public programs, administrative offices, and an area for outdoor programming. The landscape will be planted with native and historical plants, designed by Nancy Owens Studio.

    Who is paying for this strikingy modern museum? Who hired the architects? Do descendants of Pieter Claessen have no voice in this proposed project??

    I would rather see something more educational such as an authentic old Dutch barn with a couple Holstein-Frisian cows and a team of Frisian horses, and carriage.
