Gallery: Noble Goods to Debut Super Eco-Friendly Wooden Designs at BKLY...

This side table is inlaid with the most earth-friendly resin on the market

Noble Goods’ devotion to ensuring their products have a small environmental footprint is evident in everything from their bracelets and cheese boards right up to their smooth and shiny side tables. They only use FSC certified cherry wood, and strive to source other timber that is equally sustainable; also, the resin used to inlay nature-centric decorations is one of the friendliest on the market.

Originally perfected by surfers as a replacement for petroleum products, the resin that Noble Goods incorporates is comprised of pine and vegetable oils harvested as a byproduct of wood pulp and bio-fuel industries. And whilst they acknowledge that a cheeseboard won’t save the world, they do give 10 percent of their profits to the charity Habitat for Humanity. If you like what you see, be sure to find Christopher and Molly at DUMBO from May 10-12, 2013.
