Just a few days ago my friend told me about the fact that NYC is one of the most eco-friendly cities among all the world's major cities. The fact that people living in the NYC leaves less foot print up on this planet was surprising. However, it makes much more sense to me now. I'm also ecologic enthusiast and I do my part to the maximum extend possible to keep our planet suitable for healthy life. Besides recycling, our foundation had launched Project Green Hands : http://www.projectgreenhands.org/ which for example planted in 2006, 856,587 trees by 256,289 people on a single day achieving the project a place in the Guinness World Book of Records. Project Green Hands is one of the wings of the Isha Foundation, which I full-time volunteer for.
