Gallery: Last Chance to Go Skating at the High Line Retro Roller Rink!

If you're determined not to miss your chance to skate at the rink, it will be open for 5 more days until the 26th from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.

Designed by HWKN in partnership with the architects and landscape architects behind the High Line itself, Diller Scofidio + Renfro and James Corner Field Operations, the retro roller rink makes great use of the empty lot at 30th St., filling it with energy, beats and lots of smiles. The beauty of the rink lies in its simplicity – there’s really nothing to take apart except the white and orange barricades that block off the skating area, and they, of course, can be reused again and again for a number of different purposes.

If you’re determined not to miss your chance to skate at the rink, it will be open for 5 more days until the 26th from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. The admission fee is $10 for kids and $12 for adults, and that includes a pair of rental skates. So what are you waiting for – head on over there today!
