The suspense is finally over! MoMa PS1's highly anticipated Summer Warm-Up courtyard installation has been revealed and it comes with a twist. At first glance, the airy area by NY firm Interboro Partners seems rather minimalist compared to past iterations but here's the cool part - almost every fixture in the space was built or purchased with the intention of recycling it by giving it to an organization in the community that needs it. That's right, from the foosball tables to the trees, each object has been reserved for a new home at the end of the summer and is essentially "on hold" for now - hence the exhibition's name, "Holding Pattern."
