We’ve seen many instances of yarnbombing in New York City from Olek’s rainbow-camo bikes to the Campaign for Wool’s fountains of felt, but the Transmitter Park piece appears to have been done by someone new based on its muted colors and simplistic design. The small crocheted round can be seen wrapped around the park’s west railing, which faces the Manhattan skyline.
If anyone has any clues about the identity of the yarnbomber who decided to add this charming little touch to Greenpoint’s newest park, we’d love to hear about them in the comments section below.
