After two blizzards and plenty of bone-chilling temperatures, New York has had its fair share of crummy winter weather this season, leaving a lot of us wishing for warmer days. If you need a reprieve from the snow mounds and salt trucks, you’re in luck! OpenHouse Gallery on Mulberry Street in Nolita has converted its 4,500 square foot space into an indoor pop-up park, aptly titled Park Here.

Set design company American Foliage designed the peaceful retreat, which is free and open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. everyday until the end of the month. The faux-park has everything you dream of during the icy winter months: a lawn, trees, a pond, park benches, a see-saw, even sunshine (courtesy of the Seasonal Affective Disorder lightboxes) and singing birds (piped in through speakers)! Plus, the gallery is offering all your favorite park activities. There’s croquet, bocce ball, movie nights, yoga and pilates classes, and local food vendors like Luke’s Lobster and Mexicue.
Grab a picnic, a few friends, or just yourself and head to OpenHouse to beat the winter blues before the pop-up disappears. We’ll see you there!
