MTA Arts and Design is showing a new photography exhibit that’s influenced by the gardens in midtown’s Bryant Park. Artist Portia Munson wanted to keep the park’s flowers blooming even as winter moved in on the city, so she photographed flowers in circular shapes and patterns, capturing them using a scanner as a large format camera. The images will be displayed at four different transit stations: the B, D, F, M line at the 42nd St-Bryant Park station, the 4, 5, 6, 7, S at Grand Central-42nd St, the B, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, 5 at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr, and the 4, 5 at Bowling Green.
