I love it. I think it is a beautiful piece of architecture in an otherwise bland and boring street scape. I would not hesitate to do something like this. In 2000 I bought a row house in Antwerp, NY. I painted it bright pink with lavender, grape, and fuchsia trim. It was the talk of the town epically at first because the base pink was pepto bismo pink, but one the trim was done and I painted hanging baskets of fuchsias on either side of the door, everyone commented on it. Even if just to say I had the balls to do it, it was appreciated.

    Peace,
