Almost like something out of science fiction, the 'Vertical Neighborhood' is a 950ft, energy efficient, green residential tower, designed by Solus4 and proposed for New York City. The thin, blade-like tower was designed as part of Solus4's Sustainable Neighbourhood Collaborative Initiative, which ensures that the plan is both innovative and sensitive to the environment. The building's green features include a fin-like array of solar panels, mini wind turbines, and an electric car sharing program.

    No one is born sorely to help people (perhaps except jesus). Who lives there does not change the fact that it’s a “super green” building that can be a strong inspiration for other sustainability projects.

    Come on people, thousands of dollars will go towards a studio in New York. This vertical neighborhood is just another tower with really expensive property in the middle of the city. Who really might live there? Probably, singles or double income-no children couples.
