The ornate Xylem Garden Chair by Alan Lambert looks like something straight out of the Secret Garden. Drawing inspiration from the vein system of leaves, Lambert hand painted the wooden pieces of the chair. The pieces are made from 2x3s that were placed next to each other, then sawed into the desired shape. The base is created with two rounded pieces that fit together with bolts and wooden rods, allowing the whole piece to rock.
