If you think a chic and stylish synagogue seems like an oxymoron, think again. Designed by famed green architect and designer Dror Benshetrit the newly opened Soho Synagogue is just that. Located in an old Gucci store on the neighborhood's chic Crosby Street, the new synagogue is the ultimate house of worship and spiritual inspiration for a new Jewish generation. Founders Rabbi Dovi Scheiner and his wife Esty wanted a space that seamlessly blended religious traditions with a modern aesthetic. The result is a beautiful synagogue fit for traditional services and special events for the open-minded local Jewish community.
