New York’s food trucks have reach a new gourmet level in the last few years. Now vegans can rejoice, with the opening of The Cinnamon Snail! Previously only delighting the vegans of New Jersey, The Cinnamon Snail will entice the veg-only palettes of New York come mid-November.
After two years of going through the hurdles of licensing the food truck, The Cinnamon Snail will be serving New Yorkers yummy vegan fare 4 to 5 days a week. The truck will be making the rounds in the Flatiron District, Lower East Side, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint before it settles on a schedule. Chef Adam Sobel said they’ll be serving up a variety of food, from brunch to lunch and even dinner and late night eats.
Get excited about their famous vegan donuts which come in flavors like white chocolate glazed pumpkin twist, and mocha crumb. They also serve up blue corn pancakes, an array of tasty tempeh and soy based sandwiches, fresh soups, as well as fresh lemonade and fair trade coffee. Even raw foodies can grab lunch from the truck, with a raw menu that includes their favorite flax crust pizza.
All of Sobel’s healthy eats are made from organic and seasonal ingredients. You can find out The Cinnamon Snail’s daily specials by following them on Twitter. If you can’t wait until mid-November, catch them in Hoboken or Red Bank!
