Who’s hungry? Edible Schoolyard NYC invites you to toast and taste the season at a holiday cocktail party benefiting its efforts to invigorate young New Yorkers through hands-on learning in urban farms and kitchen classrooms. The tastebud-tingling event taking place at Haven’s Kitchen (109 W 17th Street) tonight from 6:30-8:30pm will be hosted by Ali Cayne (Haven’s Kitchen), Sue Chan (Momofuku), Nic Jammet (sweetgreen), Gabe Stulman (Happy Cooking Hospitality), Sophie McNally (Balthazar, Cherche Midi et al) and others, and guests will be able to enjoy food by Chef James McDuffee (Joseph Leonard), Chef Michael Toscano (Jeffrey’s Grocery, Perla, Montmartre), and Chef Mehdi Brunet-Benkritly (Fedora, Bar Sardine), as well as specialty cocktails by Brian Bartels of Happy Cooking Hospitality. Tickets can be purchased for $125 each here with proceeds going to Edible Schoolyard NYC.
