Oato‘s crafty Stuck Chair takes the shape of a deconstructed archetypal chair that’s been rearranged anew, using tension as a bond to ensure its pieces remain “stuck” together. The seating and the legs are crafted from wood that makes them squirm tight, and the backrest is made out of steel so the chair won’t lose its shape when outside force is applied. Oato‘s chair is a research project exploring new possibilities in both construction and material.
