The interior is a smart little space complete with a kitchen, bath, lounge and sleeping loft. Materials were carefully selected for their environmental sensitivity — in fact, a major concern for the project was to use common building materials and technologies to show how straightforward sustainable design can be. The Pod House is also a learning environment for the OSU Solar Decathlon house which we look forward to checking out this September!

Can you provide a materials list and more info on what it would cost to reproduce this little green house? We’ve looked at it several times on visits to COSI and are interested in getting environmentally conscious folks and groups in our area of Portsmouth, Ohio to consider building one to promote sustainable living.
