“Where there’s light there must be life.” Omer Arbel places this thought at the core of his beautiful ’38′ chandelier. Designed to illuminate a room with both its brilliance and billowing succulents, this gorgeous hanging lamp also mimics the haphazard nature of plants growing in the wild with a jumble of wire, leafy greens, and light.
In order to create comfortable temperatures for the plants it holds, each of the chandelier’s hanging fixtures is made up of glass-blown bulbs that are shaped to accommodate the in- and outflow of hot and cool air. Each of the large orbs can host two or three lights and plant life, while the smaller orbs make space for cacti and soil-loving greens.
