Remember playing with a Rubik's Cube as a kid? Well, OODA Architecture's awesome proposal for the Taipei City Museum of Art design competition reminds us of one, except you definitely can't pick it up! By twisting a double-glazed facade over inclined steel supports, the Portuguese design firm enables the cubic building to harvest both rainwater and sunshine. And further demonstrating their commitment to sustainability, they intend to plant a mini forest around the museum in Taiwan in order to offset their anticipated carbon footprint.
