Designed to be a landmark building that doesn’t exact a huge environmental price, the museum consists of a twisted volumetric box that holds within it another 90 degree cube. The whole building is wrapped in a diamond-shaped skin that can accommodate building integrated solar panels and permits diffused natural lighting.

The curvature created by the twists acts like a bowl that captures rainwater. It also ensures that the building receives the optimum amount of solar energy throughout the day as the sun travels across the sky. And finally, the design team has proposed that 750-1250 trees be planted on the property’s perimeter in order to offset the carbon that will be released while realizing this project. Stay tuned!
