Optimista is a family home remodel located in Phoenix, Arizona, named after its owner’s outlook on the future. The house renovation was treated as a DIY project that would employ not only custom furniture hand-built and installed by the occupants of the home, but sustainable elements that include low-flow plumbing, CFL/LED lighting, sealed doors/windows, and participation in the local recycling program. Anything that was in the house previously and not reused was donated to charity.

I love the warm colors used throughout the home, especially in the bedroom. It’s very welcoming. Great work!
