oud now cabinets, recycled furniture, green furniture, repurposed furniture, modern furniture

With so many furniture [1] choices out there, it’s hard to decide – do I go modernist or traditionalist? Not sure? Instead of copping out and running to buy uninspiring big box furniture, why not go with a piece that fuses the two styles together? Oud Now [2]is a cupboard line designed by Theo Herfkens [2] that revives old discarded furniture with a custom base cupboard. Because the top cabinet comes from a recovered original, each new Oud Now cabinet has a one-of-a-kind shape and color combination. The look, the history, and a new life for otherwise dumpster-bound furniture – simply brilliant!
