A child’s propensity for imaginative play is a precious gift…one that typically wanes the closer we get to adulthood. It’s fair to say that won’t be the case in the of the Mackie family. When Lilly and Leon Mackie made the move from New Zealand to Sydney, Australia, they were left in a sea of cardboard moving boxes. Rather than toss or recycle the boxes, their imaginative minds saw them as the perfect way to make a grandiose cardboard photo project that shows their love for theater as well as their baby boy, Orson. The film-loving parents launched Cardboard Box Office, a series of adorable photographs in which the trio acts out scenes from their favorite movies using the leftover cardboard to set the scene.
